André Lanskoy (Russian-French, 1902-1976)

  • A Russian painter and printmaker that lived and worked in France. Still little-known in Russia today, André Lanskoy was an important artist in the French post-war abstract movements. Considered an artist of the Seconde École de Paris, Lanskoy’s style is closely associated with Tachisme with richly textured impasto works being some of the most sought after today.
